Epoxy Pot Life Timer

Starter times are illustrative. Always match every step to the product TDS and site conditions before a real job. Practice times compress Start times and are not for real work.

Quick start

  1. For a real pour, open Settings and turn Practice times OFF (Practice is ON by default so you can try the loop quickly).
  2. Open Mixes and choose a starter mix, or create a blank mix.
  3. Check and edit every step against the current manufacturer TDS.
  4. Optional: run Sound check or tap Test for a quick alert ping, then when the material is mixed, tap START.
  5. When a card is Due, tap the large Got it button after confirming the work.

Practice times

Practice times are ON by default and shorten times only when you Start, so you can try the board in seconds or a few minutes. Editing and saving My mixes always uses real minutes. Turn Practice times OFF for real jobs.

Sound check

Sound check is recommended before a real job, but Start is not blocked. Use the Sound check banner for a full alarm + spoken test, or tap Test for a quick notification ping. Confirm that alerts are clearly audible from the phone you will keep on site.

  1. Allow notifications and sound.
  2. Set the app's urgent notification channel to its highest importance.
  3. Raise both notification/alarm volume and media volume.
  4. Turn off Silent, Do Not Disturb, or Focus modes that suppress sound.
  5. Disconnect Bluetooth headphones or speakers if sound must come from the phone.
  6. On Android, allow exact alarms and set battery use to Unrestricted / No restrictions.
  7. Run the 15-second screen-off alert test.

The app automatically checks notification permission, the Android sound channel, installed text-to-speech voices, scheduled alerts, and scheduling errors where the operating system exposes them. Other items require a real listening test because phone models and OS versions differ.

When the app is visible and a milestone becomes Due, the urgent alarm and spoken batch/step message repeat until Got it. In the background, the phone keeps the nearest milestones scheduled (phones limit how many future alerts can be stored). For those steps, alerts fire 5, 3, and 1 minutes before Due; at Due; and 30 seconds, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 minutes after Due while unconfirmed.

No app can guarantee sound. Device volume, Bluetooth routing, DND/Focus, battery restrictions, force-stop, hardware failure, and manufacturer controls can prevent or delay alerts. The timer board remains based on the saved due time even if a notification is dismissed.

Board controls

My mixes

The app includes 20 starter mixes. They do not count toward your My mixes limit. You can also save up to 30 customized or blank mixes under My mixes; these can be overwritten or deleted.

Encrypted backup

Pro users can export a password-protected backup from Settings. Import replaces local settings, My mixes, recent-use order, board state, and acknowledgements. The password cannot be recovered.

Free and Pro

Free runs two active batches with every alert and the Light board, the default for bright sun. Pro is a one-time unlock: up to 20 batches on the board, the Dark shop look, and encrypted backup. Your store shows the local price before you buy, and Restore brings Pro back on a new phone.

Limits

The board safety limit is 20 batches, each with up to 20 steps.
