Refrigerant PT Slider

Educational pressure–temperature (PT) reference only. Verify readings against a manufacturer chart on site before charging or adjusting a system. Not affiliated with Copeland, Emerson, Danfoss, Chemours, Honeywell, Arkema, or National Refrigerants.

What the app does

Pick a refrigerant, enter gauge pressure or saturation temperature, and read the matching value. Works offline. No account.

How to use

Table range

Each refrigerant has a finite saturation table. Values outside that range show as out of range — the app does not extrapolate. The active table range appears under the pressure and temperature fields.

R-744 (CO₂) stops near 85 °F because carbon dioxide’s critical temperature is about 87.8 °F. Above that, a simple liquid–vapor PT chart does not apply (transcritical operation).

Zeotropic blends

Blends with glide (for example R-407C, R-448A, R-449A, R-454B, R-452B) show Bubble / Mid / Dew. Default is Mid (average of bubble and dew) for a quick field estimate. Bubble is often used toward the liquid / evaporator side; Dew toward the vapor / condenser side. Pure refrigerants and near-azeotropes do not show the control.

Vacuum (below atmosphere)

When gauge pressure is below zero PSIG, the app also shows inches of mercury vacuum (inHg vac), the common US wall-chart form. Entry remains signed PSIG (negative).
