Estimates only. Actual fuel use and pump prices vary with driving, weather, traffic, and the station you choose.
What the app does
Estimate how much gasoline a drive will cost from distance, fuel economy, and gas price. Totals update as you type — there is no Calculate button.
Main screen
- Total fuel cost is the main result. Below it you also see fuel amount, cost per mile (or per km), and per-person amount when People is greater than 1.
- One-way / Round trip doubles the distance for a there-and-back estimate.
- People splits the total equally (1 = no split). Maximum 8.
- Units stay visible next to each field (mi / MPG / $/gal by default).
My cars
Save up to five cars with a name and economy. Tap a car to fill the economy field. Long-press a car to edit its name or economy, or delete it. Cars are not used to split cost — only People splits the total.
Copy and Save
- Copy result puts a short summary on the clipboard so you can paste into Messages, Notes, or another app.
- Save estimate stores a snapshot on this device (up to eight). Open the clock icon to restore one later. This is for comparing trip options — not a fuel fill-up log.
Units
In Settings, switch between US (miles, MPG, $/gal) and Metric (km, L/100km, $/L). Metric uses L/100km only.
Default gas price
Use Settings → Save as default so your usual price returns next time.
Send feedback
Use Settings → Send feedback for a one-way in-app message. We read feedback when we can and cannot reply inside the app. Do not include sensitive personal data.
