1. Overview
Gas Cost Calculator runs primarily on your device. No account is required.
2. Data stored on your device
Your inputs, default gas price, car presets (up to five), saved estimates (up to eight), and unit preference are stored locally on your phone.
3. Information we do not ordinarily collect
The core app does not require your name, email, location, contacts, or payment details. It does not use maps or track where you drive.
4. Feedback (optional)
If you choose Send feedback, we receive the category and message you enter, anonymous app and install identifiers, app version, platform, device model when available, and submission time. Feedback is sent to our Supabase-hosted database. Do not include personal or financial account information. The form does not collect your email address, and we cannot reply in the app.
5. App stores
This release has no in-app purchases. If paid features are added later, Apple or Google would process payments under its own privacy policy.
6. Deletion
Delete saved estimates and car presets in the app. Uninstalling the app generally removes local data.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date will change when we do.
